Compassion Cultivation Training

Join us for an 8 week course designed at Stanford University School of Medicine, taught around the world by certified facilitators, to help develop resilient compassion. Using lessons of recent neuroscience and mindfulness techniques we can improve our healthy connections with those around us. This course integrates meditation, discussion, and lectures as well as real-world exercises to put learning into practice.

Research has shown Compassion Cultivation Training can lead to:

  • Support for your health, happiness, and well-being
  • Reduction of stress, depression, and anxiety
  • Improvements in relating to others and the world

The primary author of CCT is Thubten Jinpa, who is best known as the primary English-language translator for the Dalai Lama.

This course will be offered by Winston Cheyney, a retired intensive care nurse, who was certified to teach this course by Compassion Institute as part of his work to bring caring resilience to his fellow healthcare professionals.
